Fun for the kids, but boy mom and dad sure are tired.
It all started with Friday night's Birthday party, with her friends attending, the party kicked off with a dance party going on outside, and Laurissa requested that Chinese food be provided for dinner. Friday night evenings highlight included a pie eating contest, an outside "Wii dance" competition, a soda chugging contest, Shakes and presents and then an outdoor movie featuring "Hair Spray" till midnight.
Saturdays events kicked off with muffins, fruit, and berry covered sponge cake then it was off to the Holi festival where our family and some of Laurissas friends welcomed spring with the throwing of color, dancing to music, amazing food from India and the unlimited hugs, not only given, but received. This all day event was fun for everyone and sure tired everyone out.
Sunday (Laurissas actual birthday), started with her requested "Bacon Huevos Rancheros" yep bacon, bacon, bacon. Dinner with the family, well bacon flavored chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, oh yeah baby puttin' on the pounds with this one. All in all Laurissa had a pretty fun time, We love you sweetie.
